Dolmabahce Palace has been built 400 years ago and it is located in Besiktas. It has been built in the period of Sultan Abdulmacid in 1856. There are 285 rooms and 6 hamams in the palace. It has been a home for 6 Ottoman Sultans. The first prime ministor of Turkish Republic Mustafa Kemal has lived in Dolmabahce Palace for 11 years and he has died in there. You can see lots of furnitures that used to belong to him in the palace. If you want to walk along the memories of the last Ottoman Empire sultans and see where Ataturk died, all you have to do is to go to directly Besiktas from Taxim Suites. Distance to Taxim Suites 3 km.

The rooms are fine. Clean well, it cleaned every day. Staff approachable and is getting help. In good condition. If you open the windows but the sound comes from the car, closed the case does not bother at all. Thank you for everything.

I always stay at Taxim Suites when I visit Istanbul (several times a year). The suites are modern, spacious, fully-equipped & comfortable, a real home – from – home. The open plan kitchen means I can relax in the evening (wifi, TV etc), if I don’t feel like going out (Faros Restaurant on the ground floor have great food and offer room service!).
The staff are attentive & friendly and always on-hand to offer their help. I can’t fault their professionalism. Location wise, Taxim Suites is perfect. 5 minutes in a taxi and you’re in Nisantasi shopping district or the Bosphorus and, walking distance to Beyoglu, the bohemian Istanbul. All in all, whether for business or pleasure, this is a great little gem of a place to base yourselves.
